Video: #MeetMeMonday: GenerationFlux & the importance of students voting

In 2012, I worked with Community Foundations of Canada to research and author a national Vital Signs report titled Generation Flux: Understanding the seismic shifts that are shaking Canada's youth. The research shows that young people today have a substantially different path from school to a career than was the case in my generation, or my parent's generation.

Municipal issues like transit, affordability, good local jobs, even bike paths, are all issues that affect students' quality of life. That's why it's vitally important for young people to get involved and to vote in municipal elections.

If you're a student and would like to be involved in Ward 6. Please contact me today. Encourage your friends to vote. Make sure you're on the voter's list and be sure to vote on October 22. If you know a student, please encourage them to find out about the issues.
